Having first arrived on the music scene back in 2012 with their debut single “Love Me”, British Girl Group Stooshe features singers Courtney Rumbold, Alexandra Buggs & Karis Anderson. Following the success of the single, the vocal trio went on to be nominated for the BBC’s Sound of 2012 poll.
Signed to Warner Music, the band released their second single “Blackheart” later in 2012. A colossal success, selling over 800,000 copies, the single peaked at No.5 in the UK charts for six weeks and was nominated for Best British Single at the 2013 Brit Awards. Having been propelled into the spotlight, Stooshe released their first album London With The Lights On in 2013 which received an outstanding reception from the media, charting at No.8 in the UK Album charts. Now signed to Trilogy Records the band has since returned to showcase their immense talent with the singles “Lock Down” and “Let It Ago”, released in 2016, ahead of their second upcoming album, on which they have collaborated with an array of talent including Keith Harris of Black Eyed Peas, singer & songwriter Carla Marie Wiliams and the top producing duo Dr Vades.
Stooshe’s rise to fame has also seen the girls nominated for a collection of prestigious awards, including Best Newcomer in the 2012 MOBO Awards and Best Album at the 2014 World Music Awards. Having toured extensively, the band has gone on to support some of the industry’s biggest names including Jennifer Lopez and Nikki Minaj. In addition, Stooshe are also brand ambassadors for the popular sports fashion footwear company FILA UK.
